The terms on which we accept bookings for boat tours, yacht charter and transfers. Please read them before you confirm.
1. About these terms
“We”, “us” and “our” refer to Dubrovnik Boat Adventure, owner Borna Obradović, Bogišićeva Tiha 26, 20210 Cavtat, Croatia (OIB 10051572988). “You” refers to the person making the booking and their guests. These terms form the agreement between us; any offer we send you forms part of it.
2. Enquiries & booking
There is no instant booking engine. You send an enquiry; we reply with a tailored written offer based on your preferences and vessel availability. A booking is confirmed only once we receive your deposit and send written confirmation. Until then, prices and availability are not guaranteed.
You are responsible for ensuring the details you give us, dates, group size, pickup location and contact number, are correct.
3. Prices & what’s included
Each offer states exactly what is included for that trip. Typically this covers the boat, skipper and/or crew, fuel, water, soft drinks and basic equipment such as towels, SUP and snorkelling gear. Exact inclusions vary by vessel and route.
- Optional extras, catering, premium drinks, decorations, water toys, guides, are priced separately and added to your offer.
- Cross-border trips may involve costs paid locally, which we will flag in advance.
- Prices are quoted per trip or per boat unless stated otherwise.
4. Deposit & payment
A deposit confirms your reservation and is paid by bank transfer or secure payment link. The balance is due as stated on your confirmation, usually before or on the day of the trip. We do not store your full card details.
5. Cancellation & changes
If you need to cancel or change a confirmed booking, contact us as early as possible. The cancellation terms that apply to your booking are set out on your written confirmation. Where we are unable to provide a confirmed trip for reasons within our control, you may choose to reschedule or receive a refund of your deposit.
6. Weather policy
Your safety comes first. If conditions are not suitable for safe cruising, we will offer you the option to reschedule your trip or receive a full refund of your deposit. The decision on whether conditions are safe rests with the skipper and is final.
7. On board & safety
- The skipper is responsible for the vessel and all persons aboard. Their instructions must be followed at all times.
- Life jackets are provided and must be worn when instructed, particularly by children and non-swimmers.
- The skipper may refuse boarding to, or end the trip for, anyone who is intoxicated or behaves in a way that endangers themselves, others or the vessel, without refund.
- You are responsible for any loss or damage you or your party cause to the vessel or its equipment beyond normal use.
- Please tell us in advance about guests with reduced mobility, medical conditions, or about young children, so we can prepare appropriately.
8. Liability & insurance
Our vessels are licensed and insured for commercial passenger use as required by Croatian law. We are not liable for loss, delay or disappointment caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, sea conditions, border closures or third-party providers. Personal belongings are brought aboard at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent Croatian courts. We would always prefer to resolve any concern directly, please contact us first at info@boat-dubrovnik.com.
