Flexible schedule
Linger at a viewpoint, skip a stop or add a tasting — the schedule belongs to your car.

Do you need a passport? The simple rule.

Croatia is in the EU; Montenegro and Bosnia are not. It comes down to one thing, whether your day crosses a border, and your driver handles the formalities either way.
Stays in Croatia · EU

No passport needed.

Cavtat, Ston, Split, Korčula and Krka never leave Croatia, so there is no border and no paperwork. A national ID card or a passport, either one is fine.

Who needs what: everyone, EU and non-EU guests alike, just brings photo ID.

No passport control along the way
Easiest to reschedule or extend on the day
Trips that stay in Croatia
Crosses a border · non-EU

No passport needed.

Montenegro (Kotor) and Bosnia (Mostar, Međugorje) leave the EU, so the day crosses a frontier. Allow a little longer at the border.

Who needs what: every traveller, children included, needs their own physical passport, an ID card will not do.

Your driver handles the crossing for you

Have a question about rday trips?

Mostly the questions we get on email the day before a booking.

The trip includes the Mercedes luxury vehicle, an English-speaking driver at disposal for the entire day, fuel, tolls, parking and door-to-door pickup within the Dubrovnik area. National Park entrance fees, museum tickets, ferries (for Korčula by Land) and meals are paid separately. We’ll list them clearly in your offer.

Yes for any trip leaving Croatia: Montenegro, Mostar & Kravice, and Mostar & Međugorje all cross a border. Bring your physical passport, Schengen-zone ID cards are not accepted at the BiH or Montenegrin borders.

One booking covers the whole car: an E-Class for 1–3 guests, a V-Class for 4–7. Larger groups can be arranged with a second vehicle. The booking covers the whole vehicle, not per person.

Day trips by car go ahead in almost any weather, but we’ll always advise if a particular trip is best moved (e.g. Krka in a downpour). You can reschedule freely up to 48 hours before, and we operate a flexible cancellation policy in extreme weather.
